5 Inspiring Youtube car design tutorials

I found Miles Waterhouse through Deviantart.com. I like his abstract and messy technique. He makes a tutorial everyday almost. Check out his website for many great tutorials
The winner of the Core77.com One Hour Badass Render. Great music, great design and awesome composition.
Sometimes when I am out of ideas I use this technique to randomly just get some lines on paper. You would be surprised at the different and interesting proportions that can be achieved.
Last but not least is my favorite video. This designer draws all views with the doors open! Kudos.
Some tips on creating your own Youtube video and why:
1. let the whole world see your talent. What better place than the most accessible website in the world?
2. Keep it short. Keep your videos under 4 minutes as people will easily get bored.
3. Pick an awesome song. This process is hard. I pretty much pick the newest song out. Or you can surprise your audience with an old Beetles song.
4. You will be famous. So when making your video make sure to add some contact information in there so you can be easy to get a hold of
My Set up
My setup back in November 2009. Yes that is a bed on the corner right. I sit on my bed and work (bad for you back) on cars and everything. Im at a new house now and I hope to have a separate studio from my room. Professionals recommend to keep work and home life separated but I’m young right now and I don’t mind working all the time. I want a Dual screen set up so bad.
Those green Taco Bell cups are filled with Prisma Markers. I highly suggest you use something to hold the markers because of the narrow base, the cups tip over easily.
